Celebrate Holy Week and Easter at Crossings!
March 30 & 31
Easter (or Resurrection Sunday) is the annual reminder of the sacrifices Jesus made on behalf of mankind and a celebration of God's love and grace. Easter comes on the heels of the Lenten season—a time to slow down and reflect on humanity's overwhelming need for forgiveness—and is a reminder of the hope we have because of Jesus. After three days in the grave, Jesus rose from the dead, conquering death and displaying his power over all the destructive forces in our lives. Because Jesus, the perfect lamb, was slain, we who acknowledge him as our savior receive forgiveness for our sins. Because he rose from the dead three days later, we also conquer death and the power of sin in our lives. Come celebrate the freedom and hope we have through Jesus at a Crossings Easter service!

As we prepare to worship on Easter weekend, we encourage you to participate in the entire Holy Week experience leading up to Easter, so you are immersed in the powerful story of Jesus' death and resurrection. Holy Week is designed to walk you through Jesus' last days—his entry into Jerusalem, the last supper, his trial, and crucifixion—before the celebration of his triumphant resurrection on Easter. Participating in Palm Sunday, 5 Days of Prayer, Maundy Thursday, and the Good Friday Experience will prepare you for the most powerful and meaningful Easter.
March 25-29
Life moves fast and we all need a moment to reset, recharge, and refocus our attention on what matters most. During Holy Week this year, the Crossings OKC Chapel will be open during the lunch hours for a come-and-go time of worship, personal prayer, and corporate prayer where you can bring your needs to God, reflect on the love of Jesus, and prepare your heart and mind for Easter.

Palm Sunday commemorates the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, which occurred several days before his death. As he rode into the city on a donkey, the people of Jerusalem waved palm branches, saying, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel” (John 12:13).
During these services, Crossings Kids will wave palm branches and parade through the adult worship services.
Devotions, Serve, Learn
Dive deeper into Lent (a season of fasting, prayer, and spiritual preparation) with these weekly devotions designed to help you connect with Jesus in his suffering, and also with the generations of believers who have traveled this road before you. These weekly devotions have been intentionally created by the Crossings Spiritual Formation Team to help you participate in the Lenten journey with Christians all over the world.
At Easter, many guests walk into Crossings for the first time. Help us create an inviting environment, so everyone who walks through the doors this Easter feels welcome and seen.
Read and learn more about each of the twelve apostles Jesus specifically selected to travel with him and support his ministry.
